This Recipe Got Raves!
Gingered Shrimp Noodles
Reader Carla P. explains why this Cooking Club recipe is a favorite:
"I love this bread because it's a cross between a coffee cake and a muffin. And the streusel topping is the best! It comes out hot from the oven, dripping in butter."

Blueberry Streusel Bread

A simple cinnamon-accented streusel topping crowns this moist bread. Be careful not to crush the blueberries when folding them into the batter.

BREAD
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, chilled, cut up
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
1 cup fresh blueberries

TOPPING
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped almonds
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
