Market Tours: Exotic Latin American Ingredients at The Angel's Fruit Market in Bushwick: It would be a mistake to write off The Angel's Fruit Market as another Goya-saturated corner stand. It's really an impressive little spot that masquerades as a modest grocery store. This Weekend in NYC Events This weekend's best bet
2012 5 Boro PicNYC Saturday, May 26, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The start of Governor Island's food-and-drink bonanza this summer is marked by this two-day picnic. More than 20 vendors will be attending the event, including Jimmy's No. 43 and East Village Meat Market. In addition to food vendors, there will be cook-offs and live music. $25 gets you onto the island with a free beer. Governors Island; event website
