So it was only a matter of time before we ate our way through the menu at Japadog. This Canadian chain hit the East Village earlier this year, their first American location, with a menu of dogs topped with nori, bonito flakes, tonkatsu sauce, and much more. The fries, too, are spiced up with wasabi and shichimi and other ingredients you've never seen on fries before. It's filled with the rich recipes that make diners at The Spotted Pig, The Breslin and The John Dory swoon, and is specked with personal stories of her journey. Guests will sample one sparkling, two whites, two reds, and a dessert wine, with accompanying small plates.
